Oxford Web produces high quality corporate identity work, and of course stunning web design.
We recognise that design is a process, not an event, and we involve the customer through every stage.
Every new piece of work is a fresh project. Each new brief comes with its own particular requirements and personality. The design project is organic and grows and develops according to the requirements of the brief and customer. The phases of the design process can be divided into five stages, however at all points communication with the customer is kept open and ongoing discussion is maintained and encouraged.
The first stage of a project begins with research into the customer’s needs and requirements, based on their business needs and moving on to talk about how the website might fulfil those needs. This is the starting point for any project. We will come to you, or you can meet us in our Oxford office.
The research stage is crucial. The designer will gather as much information as possible focussing on the customer’s initial brief but then spanning outwards to encompass other sources of inspiration that may not have presented at the requirements gathering stage. The research stage will provide information and inspiration that will create a solid base for the subsequent stages in tbe design process.
At this point the designer will engage with the customer again to present initial concepts for discussion and development.
The designer will now go on to develop the final concept according to customer feedback and discussion during the earlier stages.
The project will be agreed, signed off and delivered.
Your web design is very important as part of the image-forming process a customer goes through when they come across your company. But it is also just a layer on top of a working website 'engine' designed to do different things for different companies. At Oxford Web we work hard to make sure that your website works for your business, bringing in customers and serving their needs and yours.
